MANCHESTER: Girls at Work, a nonprofit that offers services and resources to empower young girls with tools, is expanding their space in the Manchester Millyard by 1,500 square feet. The organization is currently seeking donations to fund the expansion, which would include a new STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) room, including a large closet to collect donations of food and clothing for the girls they serve in the community. The organization is matching all donations up to $150,000 to cover the $300,000 project costs.

PORTSMOUTH: JSA Design recently completed a redesign of the interiors of 273 Corporate Drive, a 100,650-square-foot office building located at the Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth. Built in 2001, the two-story, multi-tenant space — owned by The Kane Company and managed by the Katz Group, both of Portsmouth — was revamped to create a large common area in the center of the building, with new furniture and working spaces as well as a 1,500-square-foot fitness room. Phase 2 of the project will create an outdoor space with a patio that includes an outdoor kitchen, sun shading and a firepit.
NASHUA: 593 Amherst Street in Nashua has been sold to JFC Realty LLC. Dan Scanlon, of Colliers’ Manchester office, represented the seller, Karyn Oakes-Keeper, and Bob Rohrer, also of Colliers’ Manchester office, represented the buyer. According to the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $2,500,000. The 5,850-square-foot building on the 2.1-acre lot has a long-term land lease in place, where Uno’s Pizzeria has been the sole tenant since 2003.
MANCHESTER: The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund was recently recognized for its work in the area of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion with a 2023 Sustainability Award from New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility. The organization provides loans and education, or training, to people and communities that historically have been disenfranchised, including people of color, people with low incomes and/or disabilities, women and rural residents. The organization’s three-year effort has been led by a staff committee chaired by its Change Management Officer and Senior Organizational Trainer Chris Bourcier, who said he’s proud of the willingness of the leadership and staff to embed the principles of equity and inclusion throughout each department, and their commitment to unearthing and correcting any inequity and exclusivity that exist.

DOVER: Colliers has announced the sale of the 7,700-square-foot multifamily dwelling at 511-517 Central Avenue in Dover, featuring five resident units and two commercial/retail spaces. According to the Strafford County Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $1,470,000. Abigail Bachman and David Choate, of Colliers’ Portsmouth office, procured the buyer, Portsmouth Realty LLC. Arthur Pappas, of Keller Williams Coastal Realty, represented the seller in the transaction.
