The suspense is over

If by any chance you were holding your breath in anticipation of hearing it, the person who previously occupied the White House finally made his endorsement in NH’s US Senate race.

While no doubt disappointing Maggie Hassan supporters, the Big Liar ended the suspense by issuing his formal endorsement of GOPer Don Bolduc.

You know General DB: He’s the guy who, the day after winning the party nod, immediately took back all of the claims he had been making for years that the Big Liar actually won re-elect in 2020. (Until he didn’t take back the claims before taking them back before … )

Bolduc and the Big Liar: Voter fraud bedfellows

Interestingly, despite being very much aware of DB’s flip-flop-flipping, the Big Liar praised DB for “running a great campaign” but did slap him on the wrist for being a “strong and proud Election Denier” before reneging on his stance. (Or did he? We’ll know more after the election.)

Of course, DB may (for now) say the Big Liar lost in 2020, and that he’s still into “voter fraud” conspiracies, notably his continued claims that massive numbers of voters have been school-bused into NH to cast ballots.

And that’s what the Big Liar glommed onto in his endorsement.

Chief Twit Elon Musk sure knows how to rack up the headlines, and now his new Twitter plaything the multibillionaire’s eagerness for attention likely knows no bounds.

While most of the attention the Chief Twit is garnering involves the expectation that he’ll make that new plaything a forum for just about every kind of speech — free, funny, offensive, violent, hateful, whatever — although he’ll stop short from allowing it be become a “hellscape.”

While that “hellscape” claim remains to be seen, it is interesting to note that the Chief Twit drew the line th’other day on a tweet by Jeremy Kauffman, the Libertarian US Senate candidate, whose Twitter account was suspended after he posted this:

“Just some testing: “Covid was manmade in China” “Rachel Levine is a man” “Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong” “Some people are retarded.” (Levine is U.S. assistant secretary of health who transitioned to female and Rittenhouse shot three people, killing 2, during a protest in Kenosha, Wis., when he was 17.)

“I was just having some fun,” Kauffman told the NH Union Leader. We’ll let the Chief Twit — who so often likes to have “fun” himself on his new plaything — be the judge of that.

2nd CD GOP candidate Bob Burns wants you to know he, too, has a full understanding of facts.

Consider that th’other day, in his debate with Annie Kuster, he made the jaw-dropping claim that “Green energy isn’t green.

The most green energy we have is nuclear power.”

Burns: Greenwashing nuclear

Sure, there are folks who don’t like the idea of government subsidies for renewable energy and the like — and BB is in that camp.

But to make the claim that nuclear power is “green energy” is going a spent fuel rod too far. Especially considering that the US — and the rest of the word, to boot — still has no idea how to safely get rid of nuke waste or store it for the at least 1 million years required before it’s no longer radioactive.

Just the “facts”

BTW, Don Bolduc sure has a way of investigating issues and vetting “facts” before repeating them willy-nilly, doesn’t he?

First, there’s his ongoing claim that school bus-loads of voters have been forced upon NH and casting illegal ballots.

We’ve heard this before, of course — a lie fathered by our very own guv who made the claim in 2016. And, of course, it was famously adopted by the Big Liar who, in his inimitable way, amped it up. And then DB, who when pressed about what his proof was for the claim — during the NHPR debate th’other day — said, “I am claiming that that is what Granite Staters tell me. And I am saying we need to respond to that.”

It may have been the same “Granite Staters” who told DB about the completely untrue and actually slanderous claims that schoolkids are identifying themselves as animals and that schools are providing them with “litter boxes.” He even went so far as to name Pinkerton Academy in Derry as a school where such a thing is taking place.

“I wish I was making it up,” DB told a group of his supporters when relating the fiction.

Well, his wish came true, considering that an irate Pinkerton Academy issued a statement saying the claim is “entirely untrue.”

Full stop.

Whether DB himself goes full stop on the claim remains to be seen. Same with whether he has a full grasp on reality.

“I consistently continue to be the only candidate in this race who says that I believe the 2020 election was undoubtedly stolen from President Trump.”

Will the NHDems finally explain after the election why they were afraid to counterpunch NHGOPers on their claims about inflation and what caused it?

If Chuck Morse is really considering running for guv, he’d better spend the next couple of years learning how to campaign.
