The Crotched Mountain Foundation board of directors has elected Jim C. Piet as its new chair, succeeding Henry Veilleux, who held the job for a three-year term. Piet, a 16-year board member and one-time student of Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, is the first person with a disability to serve as the organization’s board chair. Piet is a public relations specialist with the NH Department of Education and Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation and is a longtime advocate on disability-related issues.
