Boston University is honoring Rik Cornell of Manchester, vice president for community relations and development at the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, with its Outstanding Career in Social Work Award in recognition of his 49-year career at the Mental Health Center and as a community mental health advocate. The Outstanding Career in Social Work Award acknowledges a Boston University School of Social Work graduate who, throughout their career, has consistently demonstrated exceptional contributions to the profession and the community at large.
