New space will allow firm ‘to continue the incredible growth we have had here’

Manchester-based venture capital firm Alumni Ventures has moved into a new Manchester headquarters after consolidating its three office locations into space in the Manchester Millyard.

The company has signed a longterm lease to occupy 27,351 square feet at 670 N. Commercial St. The new headquarters also provides opportunity for Alumni Ventures to expand over the next decade and beyond, said Colin Van Ostern, president and chief operating officer. “It was important for us to continue the incredible growth we have had here in Manchester, and the Millyard feels like home. The same ‘brick by brick’ mindset that drove original innovations at this former manufacturing site is what drives the continuing reinvention of Manchester today.”

The new headquarters features dedicated offices and conference rooms for meetings, collaborative and open workspace, and flexible space for larger meetings and events. State-of-the-art technology within the conference spaces allow for quality interactions and connectivity to remote and nationwide offices.

Commercial real estate firm JLL represented Alumni Ventures in leasing the space.
