1. St. Mary’s Bank Commercial Banking Team celebrated being awarded Best Credit Union in New Hampshire by NH Business Review’s 2021 Best of Business (BOB) reader’s survey for the 12th time since 2008.

On April 23, Vice President Kamala Harris visited NH Electric Cooperative’s headquarters in Plymouth to talk about the proposed $100 billion in spending that would increase access to broadband internet, as part of the American Jobs Plan. Joining her was NHEC President/CEO Steve Camerino, who detailed the company’s efforts to expand access to high-speed internet, aided by two grants from the Connecting New Hampshire Emergency Broadband Expansion Program, funded by the federal CARES Act.

7. Amanda Vizard, executive secretary of NH State Police Troop E, was presented flowers for Administrative Professionals Day in appreciation for the work she and State Police administrative staff complete every day.

8. Last month, Brewster Academy’s Health Services Team, with the help of the NH National Guard and Huggins Hospital, distributed Covid-19 vaccines to about 170 students over 16, with parental permission. According to the CDC, New Hampshire has the most vaccinated persons in the U.S., reports Brewster, which is based in Wolfeboro.
