1. Over Twitter, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley recently congratulated the 30 GOP women who won their seats in New Hampshire. Haley and former New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte held a “Take Back the House” event in October. New Hampshire flipped both the House and Senate to Republican led.

2. Jim Ford, a New Hampshire native and commercial fisherman out of Massachusetts, joined forces with the Cape Cod Fisherman’s Alliance to turn haddock into hearty, nutritious and easy-to-prepare chowder for food banks. The NH Food Bank was thrilled to receive two pallets on Nov. 7.

3. New Hampshire Women’s Foundation staff pose at the end of the day of their #WomenBuildingCommunity event, which featured an interview with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. 5. Miss New Hampshire Outstanding Teen Isabel Povey volunteers with a friend at the Food for Children outdoor food ministry, which is held every Saturday in the parking lot of the JFG Coliseum in Manchester. Povey was recently appointed to the New Hampshire Legislative Youth Advisory Council.

6. Five men who live in one of Easterseals New Hampshire’s community-based services homes got into the Halloween spirit by carving pumpkins.

7. The Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise in Merrimack, Hudson, Nashua and Manchester extended a public thank you to their desk staff for the amazing work they do, both in front of and behind the scenes, working tirelessly to make sure each patient is able to receive the care they need in a comfortable, safe environment.
