WHAT: NHTI presents three speakers who will explore how mindfulness can help us address challenges that have become central to our society over the past year. Mirabai Bush, founder of the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, will discuss how Covid-19 has shown us the need for compassion to create a society with care and respect for all. Richard Goerling, certified mindfulness trainer and retired police officer, will discuss how cultural and traumacompetent mindfulness skills training to our police. And Stephanie Briggs, owner of Be.Still.Move., will explore how mindful presence can pave the way for expanding personal truth and steps toward transformative healing.
